Eva Piffaretti

Les Professeurs de Swissbody EvaPEva grew up in Biel where she studied ballet within the « sport and cultural studies » programme. In 2008 she was accepted into the professional training programme at the Geneva dance Centre where she danced with le Jeunballet.ch until 2013. She discovered the Pilates method when she was 12 years old as an addition to her ballet training in order to improve her postural alignment.

Passionate about the Pilates technique (which she mainly used for rehabilitation during her years of ballet training), she joined the Swissbody® Pilates Academy in 2011 as a Pilates student where Second Generation Pilates Master, Susan Pepper Arena and Swissbody® Master Instructors Markus Siegenthaler and Florence Gandillon trained her.

In 2014 she joined the Swissbody® teaching staff and in parallel she teaches ballet at the Geneva Dance Centre.

Eva firmly believes in the benefits of the Pilates method, whether to create a sense of well being, to improve athletes’ performances or for rehabilitation after an injury and/or to avoid injury in the future. « This method has, personally, given me a lot, I’m really happy to pass it on ».

Eva speaks French, English and Italian.
